Vegetal sculptures

Fascinated by the discovery of an exotic plant world and by the richness of plants, fruits and seeds from all over the world, Marguerite Heeb imagines and produces immense plant sculptures with hundreds of elements mounted on wire. In order for her assemblies to be strong enough to be sent around the world, Marguerite Heeb learned to weld at a garage and to make cement on construction sites.

Because it is important for her that her sculptures are in harmony with her clients and their homes, she always goes to their homes to get to know their personality and to imprint her place. Depending on the interior, she brings her ideas to life by combining different materials, seeds and leaves to which she gives movement and color. In order for the composition to come alive, Marguerite Heeb invents her own painting technique to obtain very subtle gradations.

Complex and demanding, his works take weeks or even months to reach maturity. For his clients, his sculptures give off a strong energy and illuminate the rooms where they are installed.
